What is the difference between an Importer and a Distributor?

An importer, like Di Alfredo Foods, is the actual company that finds the products and brings them over to the US. A distributor is a company that buys from an importer and resells the product to stores. Like Di Alfredo Foods, some importers are also distributors, so it is important to know who your dealing with.

Is Your Olive Oil Extra Virgin?

Absolutely yes! All of our plain and infused oils are 100% Extra Virgin and we provide yearly analysis reports to our clients to show this. The average acidity level at time of packaging is around 0.3. Depending on the type of oil you are buying from us, some are buttery, some are bitter and some are peppery. It depends on the blend and the region from which it came.

Do Your Balsamic Contains Artificial Additives?

Absolutely NO! The owner of our company, Paul Pecorari, was born and raised in Modena, Italy which of course is where Balsamic Vinegar is produced. We are staunch traditionalists because of this and would NEVER add any artificial additives, thickening agents or colorants. All of our Balsamic Vinegar if 100% Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. We look strongly down upon companies who add glucose, pectin or anything else to trick the consumer into thinking they are buying a premium product. With Di Alfredo, you can rest assure you are in good, honest and pure hands.
